hi all
I've got more info on audible .aa files. I can't find the magic number
for audible files anywhere in the files. The magic number (according to
the ffmpeg source code libavformat/aadec.c is 1469084982). I can't find
that anywhere, but I did find an alternative. Muser_alias followed by
the user the file was downloaded by. The Muser_alias is the unique
string. THe problem is, how do I determine the offset, so I can put it
in mime editor? One mroe question. Mime editor contains fields like big
endian, little endian, etc. I don't have any idea what this means and if
I select the wrong one, the files won't match and the mime type won't
work. Once I have this, where would I put it in the bug? I have a test
audible file which I'd be happy to attach to this email so someone with
the privilages can upload it to the tests in shared-mime-info.
Thanks
